North Bay’s Ryan Hunter had another dream come true today.

After being ranked recently as the top-ranked prospect for the CFL Draft on May 2nd, today, the Offensive Lineman was selected as an undrafted free agent by the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs.

“So thankful, #ChiefsKingdom,” Hunter stated via Twitter earlier this evening.

The announcement came shortly after the 6-foot-3 and 316 pound Bowling Green graduate was unselected in the 2018 NFL draft which has taken place the past three days.

Hunter started all 12 games for the Falcons at left tackle that protected a true freshman quarterback Jarret Doege, who posted one of the greatest seasons in program history for a true freshman. The North Bay native was a Mid American Conference (MAC) Distinguished Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-MAC in his final season.

According to 3DownNation, the Chiefs view Hunter as a potential centre and guard with swing offensive lineman capabilities.
