Panther Radio is set to hit the court again for HOOPS FOR HOPE.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and The Panther is helping to build awareness about breast cancer research by inviting you to take some shots during the 2nd Annual Hoops for Hope event.

Last year the college radio station raised more than five hundred dollars for the local chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society. We hope you will help us do it again this Tuesday October 2nd. Invite your area or students to make a group donation if you prefer.

‘Tip-off” with Mayor Vic Fedeli is at 10:00 am with the fun continuing until 2:00 pm outside the main cafeteria at Canadore College . For a small donation you can shoot some hoops and try to win some awesome prizes.

Local celebrities and college administrators will be on hand. Of course, the Panther Crew will be there to cheer you on as we all help out in the fight against breast cancer.
