Home Depot announced that it has raised $30,860.00 for the Crisis Centre in North Bay through the Orange Door Project and the Home Depot Canada Foundation.

It’s all part of The Orange Door Project, where Home Depot customers and associates sold $2 paper doors.  In total, more than $1.2 million was raised within 36 days from the 182 Home Depot stores in Canada.

This outreach program was part of a national initiative to provide youth access to safe, stable housing and life-skills development programs.

Since North Bay was one of the top 10 fundraising finishers, the the Home Depot Canada Foundation match program means the top 10 fundraising communities based on top dollar sales and top sales as a percentage of transactions will receive a dollar-for-dollar match.

That means the local Home Depot store generated alone $15,430.00
