The North Bay Police Service has recently received 3 complaints of thefts from vehicles that had been at the Northgate Mall.
The dates have been on the 5th, 6th and 7th of Dec. during daytime and evening hours.
2 of the vehicles had had their windows smashed. All of the vehicles had Christmas gifts and clothing stolen.
One of the vehicles had over $3000 worth of gifts such as
2 HP laptops, various clothing items, a JVC hand held camera and several DVDs stolen. The thieves also took a purse containing $6000 in jewellery.
Another vehicle had a Garmin GPS 250 and a black Sanyo phone stolen.
The last vehicle had a suitcase containing various clothing items as well as a Sureshot camera and medication for a total value of $1600. taken.
Our Service is reminding the shopping public not to leave articles readily visible within their vehicles.
