Hit and Run at Gap Construction

GAP Construction employees arrived to work this morning thinking they were getting a drive through, but it turns out that someone was just trying to drive through the building.

The North Bay Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public and the media in locating a vehicle that struck a building and then fled the scene.

This occurred during the night of the 21st of Sept. to the early morning hours of the 22nd of Sept.

A vehicle lost control on Franklin St. in North Bay and then struck the Gap Construction Building in the 1300 block of that street.

There was significant damage to the structure.

The vehicle responsible is believed to be purple in colour and possibly had a custom paint job. There should also be significant damage to the vehicle in question.

Anyone with information on these crimes or any other are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 476-8477.
