Highway 11/17 will be closed Friday

The Ministry of Transportation wishes to advise the motoring public that Highway 11/17 through North Bay will be closed between Fisher Street and Seymour Street from 10 pm Friday, September 7th to 10 am Saturday, September 8th.

Traffic will be re-routed along Fisher Street, Laurier Avenue and Franklin Street during the closure to allow the ONR to carry out improvements at the railroad crossing. Detour signs will be in place to direct traffic.

A second closure, to allow follow-up work at the crossing, will take place two weeks later on September 21st to 22nd. Advance notice signs have been installed on the highway to advise motorists of the upcoming closures
