Update 1 p.m.
North Bay OPP say both northbound and southbound lanes are closed on Highway 11 at Powassan as well as local roads within a 1 km radius of the accident scene.. Residents have also been evacuated within a 1 km radius.
Police say it is a single commercial motor vehicle accident with no injuries.
The evacuation is due to a diesel spill.
A detour is in place, however, police are asking that you avoid the area.
Detour: Northbound traffic take Hwy 534 to Hwy 654 to Hwy 11.

In addition, Ontario 511 reports a collision on Highway 11 southbound between Highway 654 and Lake Nosbonsing Road in Callander.

Ontario 511 says Highway 11 northbound and southbound between McCharles Line-Pinetree Way-Main St. in Powassan and Peever Line-Golf Course Line-Pinetree Way has both lanes and the shoulder closed to traffic after a transport truck accident just before noon today.
