The North Bay OPP is investigating a unique theft that occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday from the end of Ellsmere Road, Lyman Township, Tilden Lake.
Three sealed drums of jet fuel for a helicopter (approximately 650 litres) were stolen from a gravel pit located at the end of Ellsmere Road approximately 30 kilometres north of North Bay.
The value of the loss is unknown at this time. Police are continuing their investigation.
