From the makers of Dark Rising 2, Summer Strikes Back comes the year’s ultimate test of talent, whit and creativity.

Contest Rules
1. Entries must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12th to: Near North Mobile Media Lab, 150 Main Street East, North Bay, ON P1B 1A8
2. The contest winner will then be chosen and announced at the Official North Bay Premiere of Dark Rising 2: Summer Strikes Back on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. (Nipissing Theatre, 100 College Drive)
3. Electronic of hard copy submissions are acceptable; however, printed and/or bound scripts will not be returned
4. For purposes of this project, all scripts should not exceed 7 pages in length
5. The submission must be a completed draft of an unproduced project
6. Submissions may be prepared by one or more individuals and contestants can enter multiple scripts
7. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges and their decision to award the winning script is final
8. The prize will be transferred to the winner upon successful completion of the short project within one year from the date awarded
9. The contest is open to residents of the Nipissing region

Black Walk, the Near North Mobile Media Lab, the City of North Bay, the Nipissing University Peace Research Initiative, North Bay Film, North Star Talent, Nipissing University and Canadore College.

Dark Rising 2, Summer Strikes Back – North Bay Screening!
The makers and star of Dark Rising 2, Summer Strikes Back (filmed in North Bay in 2009) are returning to the area for an exclusive screening and meet & greet. Come out to the screening of DR2 on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the Nipissing Theatre (200 College Drive), doors open at 7:30 p.m. –tickets are only available at the door (first come first served).
