Help catch a shoplifter (picture)

Nipissing West OPP  wants your help with a shoplifting investigation.

On December 18, 2019, officers received a report of a theft, which occurred on November 27, 2019, from the Canadian Tire store on Highway 17 in West Nipissing. 

Video surveillance footage was obtained and investigation revealed, the thief stole a battery booster pack and two pairs of gloves with a total estimated value of $250. 

The person is described as:

  • white male with facial hair, 
  • wearing a blue winter jacket with faux fur hood,
  • grey ball cap with black logo on front and black brim with a foil sticker,
  • dark pants,
  • brown winter boots-similar to Sorel, with Sherpa pile snow cuff and black wraparound rubber lower.

Anyone with information regarding this theft, is urged to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
