Haleyfest returns December 4th and 5th

Christmas is just around the corner, and what better way to get in the Christmas spirit than to attend Haleyfest! With twelve wonderful and talented school and community choirs performing over two nights, this community event is not-to-be-missed. Attend the event on Tuesday, December 4th and Wednesday, December 5th, and hear the angelic voices of over 500 singers!

Back again this year as Haleyfest Artistic Director is well-known community personality, Dennis Chippa. The “Haleyfest” concert was initiated and named for Mr. Art Haley by Mayor Stan Lawlor in 1986, as a tribute to Mr. Haley’s dedication to the Santa Fund.
Haleyfest is in tribute to Doris Haley and in memory of Art Haley.

Ticket sales begin on November 23rd at 6 p.m., on the same night as the DIA Annual Downtown Christmas Walk. Tickets are only $4 each. Join us for two great nights of holiday favourites sung by local English and French students.
