A 65 year old South River man has been charged with numerous firearm related offences after Almaguin Highlands OPP investigated a domestic dispute on Thursday October 9.
Police say they obtained a warrant, entered the residence and seized four non-restricted long guns, one restricted handgun and a variety of ammunition.
Police arrested and charged the man with assault, pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a weapon contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused is to appear for a bail hearing on Friday October 17,at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound.
