Groundhog River Bridge down to one lane

The Ministry of Transportation wishes to advise that the Highway 11 Groundhog River Bridge, just west of Fauquier has been reduced to one lane until further notice.

The bridge sustained damage from a truck collision on November 10th, and for safety reasons has been reduced to one lane of traffic until repairs can be carried out. Ministry engineers are currently developing a repair strategy.

Motorists should expect minor delays at the bridge. Please reduce your speed when approaching the bridge and follow flag persons directions.
