Trojan Theatre

West Ferris Secondary School’s Trojan Theatre is presenting Grease, the musical on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 24, 25 and 26th at the school Auditorium.
The extra-curricular group has reached out to the student body and taken at-risk students to work on-stage and behind the scenes with the hope of keeping more students in school. The director, Allan MacAskill, has brought in theatre professionals from the community to augment the cast and provide expert training and encouragement from these volunteers.
“This unique performance of Grease is an amazing mix of students”, says MacAskill. “ Some have been doing theatre for years and excel in school, while others are on stage for the first time in their lives, and possibly coming to school because of the encouragement and energy they are getting from their commitment to the play”.
Tickets can be purchased at Gulliver’s on Main Street, or at the Main Office at West Ferris Secondary.
