Snowstorm threatening for Tuesday.

==discussion==

A low pressure system over Northern Missouri is slowly deepening as it tracks northeast towards the Lower Great Lakes.

It is expected To cross Southern Ontario into Southern Quebec on Tuesday. Snow ahead of this low is expected to spread into Northeastern Ontario on Tuesday.

There is the potential for significant snowfall amounts from this disturbance on Tuesday, particularly in the North Bay - West Nipissing region which will be closer to the track of the low.

In addition increasing northeasterly winds may cause some reduced visibility in drifting and blowing snow in exposed areas.

Driving conditions are expected to deteriorate quickly Tuesday due to low visibility in heavier snow and blowing snow in addition to accumulating snow on untreated roads.

Environment Canada is closely monitoring this situation and may issue watches or warnings as required.
