With the price of gas way down, you'd think there would be less incentive to steal it.
But Wawa OPP can tell you different.
Yesterday morning officers responded to a call, claiming a motorist had stolen gas from a White River business.
A description of the car and driver were provided to officers and later a vehicle was spotted travelling southbound on Highway 17, and subsequently stopped near a local Wawa business.
Police arrested Jordan Lynn McConnell, 23 of British Columbia.
The accused stands charged with the following offences,
- Adult Possession of Property obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Adult Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Adult Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
- Adult Theft Under $5,000
- Adult Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking
