The new look for North Bay Memorial Gardens continues to take shape.

The new look for North Bay Memorial Gardens continues to take shape.

Starting at Sunday’s Ontario Hockey League game against the Barrie, Colts all areas of North Bay Memorial Gardens, excluding washrooms, will be licensed for the sale, service and consumption of spirits, beer and wine.

Plans for the months November and December are:

- Complete exterior building envelope finishes by the end of November.

- At Section 9 seating, lower railings and modify access stairs at front row to improve sightlines.

- At Hall of Fame Lounge, complete counter/guard and install floor finish by end of November.

- At suites, install glass guard and modify suite seating for more leg room by mid-December.

- At media box, install new seating, complete counter and modify partitions for improved circulation and sightlines by mid-December.

- At Club Lounge, complete glass guardrails/counters and install flooring by end of November.

- Complete ground floor administration offices and ticket box office by mid-December.

- Complete Battalion second floor offices by mid-December.

- Complete commercial kitchen on second floor by mid-December.

Game time Sunday is 2 p.m. The Battalion travel to Sudbury tonight to take on the Wolves.
