Fuel stop only for Snowbirds prior to Armed Forces Day

The team did a brief demonstration over the skies of North Bay around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Snowbirds Demonstration Team made a stop in North Bay on Tuesday but unfortunately, they are not sticking around to show off their aerial acrobatics at Armed Forces Day which takes place on Wednesday on the North Bay waterfront.

Late Tuesday morning the team arrived at Jack Garland airport for refuelling after spending the weekend performing in Thunder Bay.

The team will be back in the air on June 8, as they will take part in a non-aerobatic display during the RBC Canadian Open which takes place at Oakdale Golf and Country Club in Toronto beginning Thursday morning.

The Canadian Forces (CF) Snowbirds, 431 Air Demonstration Squadron is described as "a Canadian icon comprised of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members and National Defence Public Service employees."
