North Bay is a big car town with shows on a regular basis.

One scheduled for tomorrow is a "must see."

Organizer Jon Parolin tells BayToday that there will be a wide variety of European cars from North Bay and the surrounding area.

Included in the show will be new models and classics, German and Italian sports cars, British luxury saloons, Swedish classics, and more.

Parolin says this is the first time for the show, and is not currently intended to be an annual event.

“The purpose of this show is to expose people to a wide selection of European cars that they might not be familiar with, and give them a chance to get up close and see what Europe has to offer the automotive world”

The show is located at Lee Park and runs from 9 a.m. to 3.

It's a free event. Anyone can come and view the cars.

Jon's father, Terry Parolin, opened the business in 1985 starting with a small car lot on Lakeshore Drive. Later a service shop was added and over the years the business has expanded to the large facility it now operates on Seymour St.

It bills itself as a company "dedicated to the north, providing ownership and servicing solutions for the world’s finest automobiles.

“My love of automobiles came from a young age when my father, being a GM mechanic, would often bring home the latest hotrod of the day," Terry told BayToday. "From there my enthusiasm for European cars came after experiencing the exceptional handling of a Lotus Europa and soon after I purchased a brand new BMW 320i in 1981, which I still have today.”
