Fraser St. woman charged with assault with a weapon

On the 31st of Jan. shortly after 11 PM it is alleged that an argument took place between a man and a woman within a North Bay home.

It is further alleged that this woman stabbed the man with a knife as she was choking him.

The man received an injury to his hand but was able to break free and call the North Bay Police.

Csts. Ashley St. John and Dave Wilson of our Service attended and arrested a female suspect in relation to these incidents.

Annie SUTHERLAND 31 years old of Fraser St. is charged with Assault With a Weapon, Weapons Dangerous, Choking and 2 counts of Breach of Probation. She was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
