On May 23, OPP officers executed a search warrant on a residence in Calvin Township.
They found suspected methamphetamine pills with a street value of over $300, suspected hydromorphone pills with a street value of over $1,000, suspected marijuana with a street value of over $900, a firearm, Canadian currency, and an illegal knife.
Police arrested and charged four people as a result of the warrant.
Jesse Armaly, 22, of Mattawa, was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule II substance - cannabis marijuana over 30 grams
- Possession of a Schedule I substance - methamphetamine and
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
Glen Duval, 53, of Calvin Township, was charged with:
- Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule II substance - cannabis marihuana over 30 grams and
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Nancy Duval, 69, of Calvin Township, was charged with breach of firearms regulation - store firearm or restricted weapon
Linda Paul, 46, of Papineau-Cameron Township, was charged with trafficking a Schedule I substance
All accused have been released on a Promise to Appear to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Mattawa, on July 4.
