The SJSH Spring Food Drive is a go for this evening after previously being postponed by weather.
The event takes place from from 5 until 8 p.m.
Organizers are concerned that due to the Battalion game and other events happening in the city, many people won't be home to donate.
I so, you can;
a) Drop off their donation today until 4 p.m. at the SJSH main office, or
b) Leave their donation with a visible note attached to it on their front porch or somewhere that the canvassers will easily see it as they walk by.
Partnered with Ecole Secondaire Odyssee, teams of students, staff, and alumni will be canvassing the streets of North Bay, with all food collected benefitting the North Bay Food Bank.
Last spring, the Bears and the Phenix were able to collectively raise 7950 pounds of food for the food bank.
