The North Bay Food Bank is offering deliveries to needy families, the Food Bank stated in a press release on Monday.

The Food Bank is offering its clients new hours, Monday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Wednesday's from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

"During this COVID-19 environment, we are encouraging our clients to contact us at 705-495-3290 to have food hampers delivered to them," stated Debbie Marson, Executive Director, North Bay Food Bank.

"This will help to eliminate the need to leave your home, allowing us to continue to follow guidelines on physical distance and staying in. It is through working with the City of North Bay, and community partnerships, that we can provide this delivery service, during this time."

Meantime, the North Bay Food Bank extended its hours for donation drop-offs to every weekday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Marson says they are encouraging donors to visit the website HERE

As well, starting Monday, April 6, 2020 the City of North Bay will be helping to support the North Bay Food Bank by arranging the pickup of your non-perishable food donations from your front door. No need to leave your house.

Those who have properly dated products (no items past expiration dates or prior to June 2019 please) can pack up their donations, leave them outside their doors and contact Crystal at 705- 474-0626 x2329 or [email protected] to get more details or arrange a pick-up.
