North Bay Blooms Chair Geri Beri-Openshaw is pleased to recognize the gardeners at the Watersun on Lakeshore Drive as the "Garden of the Week".
"In adition to doing a great job of planting and maintaining a number of flower beds around their building, the gardens get everyone outside in to the fresh air and keep in touch with everyone. That doesn't always happen in a condo environment," said Openshaw.
More than 20 of the residents get together to take turns sharing the weeding and trowel duties.
Not only does it make the grounds look beautiful, they take a lot of pride and have fun with their gardening.
