Sudbury is getting the first pot store in northern Ontario according to CKAT news.
It will be one of the two retail cannabis lottery winners designated for the north.

Alcohol and Gaming Ontario is accepting objections or submissions for 14 retail store applications, including 'Highlife" on Marcus Drive in Sudbury.
The deadline for that store is March 6.
There's no word yet on where the other retail lottery winner for the north is located.

Back in January, 25 cannabis retailers were selected in a lottery.
The winners were selected from 17,000 applicants.
The north region, which stretches from Nipissing and Parry Sound to the Manitoba border, saw over 8,500 retailers file an expression of interest.
