First Mayoral Debate Ready To Go

The first of a number of planned debates for mayoral candidates Victor Fedeli and Stan Lawlor will be hosted by our colleagues at 600 CKAT Thursday.

Listeners can call 474-2528 between 8am and 9am Thursday, and organisers say no topic is off limits, everything is on the table.

AM 600 CKAT is hosting the first North Bay Mayoral Debate of the 2006 Municipal Election. This Thursday, (October 12/06), CKAT will air a special 1-hour live discussion between candidates Victor Fedeli and Stan Lawlor. The debate will originate from the CKAT studios (743 Main Street East, North Bay) and will begin at 8 am. The morning will be hosted by CKAT Morning Show Announcer Dean Belanger and CKAT Assistant News Director Richard Coffin.

Listeners will also have the chance to call in and ask their questions of the candidates. Those interested in calling should phone 474-2528 between 8am and 9am that morning.

No topic is off limits, everything is on the table.
