Mattawa Voyageur Days has announced its Saturday headliner.
It's Vince Neil, of Motley Crue but without the rest of the band. Mötley Crüe was an American rock/metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981. It has now disbanded.
“Explorers Point will absolutely rock with Vince Neil playing all your favourite Motley Crue hits” says Jacques Begin Co-chair of Mattawa Voyageur Days. “Mattawa Voyageur Days is celebrating its 19th birthday this year so we thought that the concert line-up will include all fun and rocking bands all weekend long. We have also confirmed other bands who will be announced in very short order. No ballads…all rock and all super fun all weekend long”.
Motley Crue is best known for its songs, Dr. Feelgood, Same Old Situation and Kickstart My Heart.
Voyageur days is celebrating its 19th birthday this summer and takes place July 22 to 24 in Mattawa.
Motley Crue played its final concert in Los Angeles this past New Years Eve to a sold out show, says a news release from the organizing committee.
However, Vince Neil will continue touring and playing Motley Crue hits.
“The Committee will be announcing more confirmed bands in the next couple of weeks and are in final negotiations with other bands.
Wristbands are now on sale at all area Scotia banks and Caisse Populaires as well the Mattawa Travel Information Centre for $50.
