This just released by the O’Canada Day committee:
The scheduled Fireworks for tonight have been cancelled due to the extreme high winds.
The committee will enact the ‘Rain Out’ clause in their contract that will see the funds returned to the coffers and in return double the fireworks display at next year’s celebration.
