A shed fire at 7 Massey Dr. in West Ferris around 1 p.m. was quickly contained as thick smoke billowed from the structure.
No adjoining homes were affected.
The homeowner told BayToday that he had a wood stove going in the shed, which is in his backyard. When he returned to the shed after lunch, he found it on fire.
There were no injuries.
