Fire In Abandon House Under Investigation

A late night fire Saturday has destroyed an abandoned home on the 800 block of Laroque Road.

Fire crews were called to the site just after 10 p.m. and Acting Fire Inspector Randy Vezina confirmed to the media that the structure has been dismantled.

The location at the Delorme Pit Road area is notorious for parties.

Vezina also told the media that no one was injured, but says the fire is suspicious and police are investigating.

He also advised that the public’s assistance would be beneficial to find the cause.

It is reported that people's voices could be heard in the area approximately 20 minutes before the call was made.
