Unless otherwise stated the ban will be complete (i.e. no fireworks, no recreational open burning, no cooking or warmth open air burning permitted along with no incinerators). For specifics on what is permitted in your community please contact your local fire department. At this time we are experiencing very dry conditions in the area and this will remain until we receive significant rainfall.

When permitted to burn you must have a responsible person to monitor the burn, to ensure the fire remains small and to ensure the fire is completely extinguished. To be fire safe when enjoying an open air burn you must have the appropriate fire fighting equipment (rake, shovel, water supply, etc) to ensure an open air burn does not get out of control. Failure to follow open air burning requirements in your municipality may result in fines.

Protect your property and your neighbors’ property by being Fire Safe.
