The Ministry of Education is challenging each Public School Board to find their “Common Ground”. Chippewa Secondary School and its family of schools – which includes Centennial, McDougal, King George, Laurentian, Pinewood and the Alternative Secondary School – will meet to choose ten (10) character traits we’d like to support in our schools and our community.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 17th at 6:30 pm in Chippewa’s Cafeteria. Parents, teachers, support staff and interested members of the community are all invited to attend and offer input into the character traits.

The recommendations of each public session will be compiled by the Near North District School Board into a final list which the Board will launch in September.
