A fight outside a bar Saturday night has resulted in a North Bay woman being charged by police.

Just after midnight on Saturday, following an evening out with friends at a downtown bar, police say two women started arguing.

A 911 caller reported the fight, and police say the dispute turned violent when one hit the other, causing injuries that required medical attention.

They found the aggressor at her residence, where she was arrested and taken to police headquarters.

North Bay Police arrested and charged:

Migwans Pitawanakwat, age 21, of North Bay with:

  • one count of assault causing bodily harm.

She was later released from custody with a court date scheduled for April 25th.
