An effort is underway to promote businesses in the south end of the city.
In the past three months, over 70 interested business people in the Ferris area of North Bay have been meeting to see how they could do just that.
The group promises many events throughout the summer including Ferris Fun Day on July 15.
The event will feature activities throughout the Lakeshore Drive area with bagpipes, breakfast with former NHLer Vitali Yachmenev and friends, car display, a dunk tank, and food samples.
There will be a $5 car wash, Shriners clowns, cotton candy and candy apples. Five hundred hot dogs will be on sale at
$1 each at various retail outlets throughout the area.
