Female body found on roadside - Burk's Falls

Another female body was found today near Burk's Falls, less than 30 hours after the discovery of Marie Cloutier's body near Earlton.

On Sunday the 7th of January 2007 at approximately 11:10 a.m. Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a deceased female on the side of Yonge St. near Dimsdale St. in Burk’s Falls. Traffic has been detoured around the immediate area.

The deceased has been identified as Jacqueline Malloy, age 45 of Burk’s Falls.

An investigation is being conducted by members of OPP Almaguin Highlands Detachment, and North East Region Criminal Operations, under the direction of Detective Inspector Tim Millar of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
