People constantly speak about youth migration and the need for quality jobs. To address this, Mayor Victor Fedeli will be holding the 6th Annual Think Tank, held on Boxing Day.

The concept is simple: there are many global business, education, and professional executives who are from North Bay. They are well connected to various sectors, they know what's great about North Bay, and they know which companies are ready to expand. And, there’s a good chance they’ll be home for the holidays.

The intent is to get up to a dozen of them together on Boxing Day and ask them to share information about companies they know are on the move and to see if they can locate in North Bay. We know they want to see their hometown grow and prosper, and spending a couple of hours together over the holidays is a great opportunity for them to help the city out.

Over the last 5 years, the Think Tank has seen many former North Bayites contribute great ideas. In fact many of them have been incorporated into the plans of the City, and have helped shape the wonderful changes taking place in the City.

“I would hope that parents will let their corporate kids know that the Mayor would like to chat with them for two hours on Boxing Day” said Mayor Fedeli. “I’ll treat them to a sandwich, we can exchange some ideas, and they’ll head home to their families by 2:00”.
