The Families First Committee is excited to announce that the Families First New Year’s Eve Celebration is just around the corner and we are celebrating our 26th Anniversary.

Families First will welcome in the New Year with family-oriented activities including the ever-popular family skate, button-making station, and inflatable bouncy land. Other activities include giant games, photo booths, interactive reptile shows, face painting, family swim (1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.), a sweet treat and the grand finale fireworks display to round off the evening in celebration of the event’s 26th Anniversary.

The free family event will take place on Tuesday, December 31 from 5 - 9 p.m.with activities at Thomson Park, Memorial Gardens and the YMCA.

“We encourage all members of the community and their families to come down and join us in an evening of fun and entertainment,” said Brian Winkworth, Families First Committee member.

Admission is free but everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the North Bay Food Bank.

“The entire Committee would like to thank all of our sponsors and donors of this event.” said Wendy Prieur, Families First Committee member.

“It wouldn’t be possible without you!”
