UPDATED: Repaired Email not working?

If so you're not alone.

If you haven't received an email, or a reply to one you sent with an @cogeco address, it's because Cogeco has not had email working across most of Ontario since yesterday evening.

BayToday knows how annoying calling to complain can be, so we've done the dirty work for you. 

A call to customer service, a message about extended wait times...and then "If you are calling regarding email issues, we are currently experiencing problems in our network in all regions," says Cogeco's taped message.

We wait longer, and get a real person. A Cogeco operator told BayToday, "Our email servers are down and the majority of Cogeco customers are having this issue now. We are working on it to get it fixed as soon as we can."

The company is not providing a timeline for having the issue resolved.

"We don't have an estimate in terms of when it will be completed or when they're thinking it might be completed. The Cogeco policy is when a major issue like this occurs we say it's 24 to 48 hours. We started getting calls last night so hopefully sooner than that but those are the outer limits."

So the bottom line...you'll have to be patient.
