The Children’s Aid Society of the District of Nipissing and Parry Sound has received a substantial donation from North Bay native Steven Beauchamp and his family to support the redevelopment and expansion of the existing Beauchamp Youth Hub located at 140 Elmwood in North Bay.
“I have been truly impressed by the passion everyone at Children’s Aid has for helping youth in the community and I am excited about supporting them to expand their reach and services," said Beauchamp.
The Beauchamp Youth Hub is a one-stop-shop for youth to get access to the services they need, when they need them, under one roof, at the right place and time. A gymnasium and greenspace are among the amenities offered. The Hub hosts drop-in services and scheduled activities four days a week. Click here to see the programming lineup.
"The Hub already offers a wide range of programs and services designed to help young people reach their full potential," Beauchamp added. "From mentorship programs to everyday life skills and support, job search workshops and more, there is something for every young person in need. The staff at the hub are truly dedicated to helping these young people succeed and it's been amazing to see the impact they have already had. With the expansion the Hub will be positioned to help so many more youth and expand its impact to the broader North Bay community with additional programs and services.”
