Powassan OPP is investigating the theft of election signs that were on Highway 522 in the town of Trout Creek, Ontario.

Sometime between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. last evening (Wednesday October 4th, 2006) someone stole a 4 foot by 4 foot municipal election sign that had been secured 3 feet into the ground. Other smaller election signs were also removed from this location.
