An Alberta Clipper is expected to reach Northern Lake Huron Friday then track into the Ottawa Valley Friday night.
This system will bring a band of snow with it, along with the possibility of some freezing drizzle or even brief freezing rain. Precipitation may also change over to rain especially in areas near and east of Georgian Bay as milder air tries to pay a brief visit.
There is some uncertainty with the exact track of the low pressure area, which will affect how much snow, freezing precipitation or even plain rain will fall.
Environment Canada is closely monitoring the situation. Warnings may be needed as the event draws closer.
