Freezing rain this morning.

Freezing rain is expected to begin near dawn and taper off by late morning.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

A mix bag of precipitation for Sunday.

A low pressure system, currently over Colorado, will affect Southern Quebec in the coming days due to moving very slowly. At first, it will give a few centimetres of snow over Southern Quebec today. Mixed precipitation will then begin Sunday afternoon as this system tracks closer to Quebec. An area of freezing rain could affect these regions during the changeover from snow to rain.

Patchy freezing rain, mixed at times with snow and ice pellets, is expected to begin early Friday morning and last until near noon before changing to rain. 

Motorists and pedestrians should exercise caution as untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery.
