A busy weekend again for police. The North Bay Police Service responded to 213 calls for service, resulting in 11 arrests. Offences included domestic disputes, public intoxication, impaired driving, theft and breach of probation..

A busy weekend again for police.

The North Bay Police Service responded to 213 calls for service, resulting  in 11 arrests.

Offences included domestic disputes, public intoxication, impaired driving, theft and breach of probation..

Meanwhile, last month, police responded to 105 domestic-related incidents that resulted in 25 people being arrested and charged with a total of 57 offences.

Males:

21 males were charged for a total of 47 offences, of which:
• 16 were for assault;
• one was for assault with a weapon;
• six were for breach of recognizance;
• three were for breach of undertaking;
• 12 were for breach of probation;
• one was for utter threats;
• two were for criminal harassment;
• five were for mischief; and
• one was for break and enter.

12 males were held for bail hearings and nine were placed on conditions with a court date.

Females

Four females were charged for a total of 10 offences, of which:
• three were for assault;
• one was for assault with a weapon;
• one was for breach of undertaking;
• one was for breach of probation;
• one was for threats;
• one was for criminal harassment; and
• two were for mischief.

All four females were placed on conditions with a court date.
