Dog bites man and his dog

The North Bay Police Service is investigating an incident in which a man walking his dog on a leash in the Laurentian Avenue area was attacked by an unleashed rottweiler.

The man received a bite to his hand and the dog was bitten on its leg.

Police said the rottweiler was roaming around without its owner.

The complaint is one of a number received by the police about dogs running at large.

Cst. Tanya Whitford is investigating the Laurentian attack and does not know the dog's owner.
