Please be advised that the Best Buddies 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Challenge that was to be held this evening at Pinewood School has been cancelled due to the weather/road conditions.

Nipissing University Students, Best Buddies Chapter in partnership with the North Bay and District Association for Community Living is hosting the 2nd Annual Best Buddies Gingerbread Challenge.

Come on out and join us for the exciting event! Teams will work together to build the best gingerbread house they can! It’s sure to put everyone in the holiday spirit!

This year the event will have a $5 registration fee per team to support the Ontario Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.

What is Best Buddies?
Best Buddies is an organization devoted to improving the lives of people with intellectual disabilities through friendship. NUSU Best Buddies is the Nipissing University and Canadore College chapter of Best Buddies.

What is the Ontario Prader-Willi Syndrome Association?
The Ontario Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (OPWSA) is a non-profit, charity which was established in 1982. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome.


The 2nd Annual Best Buddies Gingerbread Challenge will take place Monday December 3rd from 7:00-9:30 p.m. in the Pinewood Public School Gymnasium.
