The Third Annual Celebrity Waiter Night fundraiser for the Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing was held at Churchill’s Restaurant – The Loft, Thursday night.

The fun-filled event offered spilt wine, forgotten orders to topless waiters all to aid an important community cause. Celebrity Waiters included Victor Fedeli (Mayor), Marc Rancourt (ONTC), Barbara Taylor (Canadore College), Al Williams (Deputy Chief of Police), and Greg Estabrooks (Cogeco TV), along with many other waiterly-challenged celebrities.

Last year the Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing helped over 3000 people including 700 young people in local high schools through the addictions program, and 200 women and children were helped to deal with the abuse. The Community Counselling Centre also provides employers with Employee and Family Assistance Programs.

All money raised during the event stays in the community and goes directly to helping families receive the much needed counselling.
