Sault Ste. Marie - The 6th Annual Real North Calendar Photo Contest, held by the Northern Credit Union, continues to grow and the first contest winner has now been chosen! Toni Brown from Markstay has won the early-bird prize of a Canon PowerShot A590. Toni’s name was drawn randomly from submissions entered before August 11, 2008.

This year participation has been wonderful, and the Real North Calendar Contest has received over 1,500 photograph submissions so far. There is still time to submit your photographs for a chance to win the grand prize of a Canon Rebel SXi for this year’s ‘Voter’s Choice’. The sooner you submit your photos, the more time to receive votes.
Voters can also be winners in the Real North Calendar Photo contest. By simply visiting the website to vote on your favourite photograph, you are automatically entered into a draw. Northern Credit Union will be giving away another Canon PowerShot A590 to a voter whose name is drawn at random.

This contest is open to all residents living in our communities; it is not necessary to be a member of Northern Credit Union to participate. All entries must be received by email before 5:00 p.m. on September 15, 2008 and are to be submitted to www.realnorthcalendar.com or by following the link from www.northerncu.com. All levels of photography are welcome. If you would like to vote on your favourite photograph, you can do so by visiting the website as well.
