The Ballet Jörgen presents the Christmas classic the ‘Nutcracker’ on the Capitol Centre stage tonight at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Distinguished by its imaginative choreography, beautiful costumes and stunning stage designs Ballet Jörgen has delighted audiences as they toured this classic ballet across North America since 1995.

Joining tonight’s production are three local dancers from Renee’s Dance Connection competitive team. Sarah Purtell (reindeer) joins Jenna Shortt (mouse) and Zöe Tessier (mouse) as the trio gets a taste of the world of professional dance.

The 5 p.m. performance is shortened to enable younger children to attend, while the 8 p.m. performance is the full-length version.
