Crime Stoppers crime of the week for Jan. 15

Near North Crime Stoppers and the North Bay Detachment Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police, under the direction of the Criminal Investigations Branch, continue to investigate the death of Mr. Robert Minor, 46, who had lived on Fourth Street in Mattawa and are seeking the public’s assistance.

Mr. Minor was found dead in his residence by emergency services personnel on Jan. 11, 2002 and police believe that he died as a result of a criminal act.

Upon discovery of the body there was evidence of a fire within the residence and autopsy results revealed that Minor had died from a stab wound.
