Crime of the Week For: October 28th, 2004


Near North Crime Stoppers and the Mattawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, are seeking the public's assistance in solving a large Theft of copper and tools from an Adams Road property in Calvin Township near Mattawa, ON.

Sometime between Friday October 8th, and Sunday October 24th, 2004 - unknown thieves attended the property on Adams Road and stole in excess of $5000.00 worth of property. Some of the stolen items include: 5 boxes of 3/8 copper tubing - 50 ft rolls, 3 boxes of 5/8 copper tubing - 100 ft rolls, ½ copper tubing 5-' & 100' rolls, 1 Lawn Boy lawnmower, 1 MTD rotor tiller, vacuum cleaner, 1 blue tool box with assorted tools, 21 4X8 sheets of ½" plywood, 10 4X8 black coloured tables and 7 boxes of high temperature red silicone.
